How to Define a Successful Student-Tutor Relationship & How to Effectively Tutor Students Diagnosed with ADHD
How to Effectively Tutor Students Diagnosed with ADHD
I have been asked, several times of late, to offer advice on how to more effectively tutor students diagnosed with ADHD.
I hope this helps!
I applaud your efforts, those of you who have taken the time to call, email, and comment. While this video is a bit long, I've tried to offer the best advice possible.
You are doing "God's work" and are to be commended!
Best wishes!

James Balog Produces 1,000,000 Words with Time-Lapse Proof of Extreme Ice Loss
Incredibly, the issue of climate change is still being debated in some corners. In fact, all one has to do is read many of the comments associated with TED and YouTube videos, like the one embedded below, to get a sense of how powerful denial, linked with ignorance, can be.
Both are alive and well!
James Balog is right! What we have is a perception problem.
Interestingly, it seems that many students, academics, and national leaders (worldwide - on the whole) understand the urgency of the problem we are now faced with.
The question is:
How do we overcome the issue of perception before it is too late...if it isn't too late, already!
Watch this TED talk/video by James Balog entitled James Balog: Time-lapse proof of extreme ice loss. See for yourself if the images he shares aren't worth at least 1,000,000 words!

Defining a Meaningful Student-Tutor Relationship
Over the past two or three weeks I've been asked the same sort of questions during the initial consultation and assessment with prospective students and their parents. Interestingly, the questions and concerns seem to be centered around the same notions...and they are totally understandable!
